Week 2 Program Announced to Raise Funds for Victorian Hairdressers in Lockdown
Week 1 of the Hearts 4 Vic on the Aftermath HairEd Facebook platform has raised A$3,796.89. and organisers Kobi Bokshish, Adam Ciaccia and Julie Mahony said that they are thrilled with funds raised to date and that these funds will be converted to grocery vouchers to help hairdressers in Victoria doing it tough.
“We totally understand that we are all stretched but with Victorian hairdressers having to shut down for 6 weeks due to COVID Stage 4 requirements, this puts salon businesses in survival mode as well as creating financial difficulties personally,” Julie Mahony said. “Even as little as $2 will add to the assistance for our fellow hairdressers. If you can give something, please support others in need.”
